Manny Pacquiao is successful in beating Antonio Margarito to become the first boxer to win 8 Titles in as many divisions.  When a boxer moves up in weight, there is a natural tendency to loose speed and the impact of his power decreases in the higher division because he is fighting heavier and bigger fighters.  That is not the case for Manny Pacquiao.

His nickname is Pac-Man.  At Staceysports we call him the "Retire-Rator" because it he beats opponents so bad that their careers are not the same after the fight. They either retire, go in to Oblivion or their skills diminish.  As a case in point look at how he handled Cotto, De La Hoya, and Hatton.  Those fighters have not been the same or retired since fighting Manny.
